Yea, slight blemishes on a case translates perfectly to a lethal glitch in a vehicle.

Thank you. That is a reasonable concern. Jumping to an extreme just makes you look like an Alarmist regardless of what side your on.
No the point is that taking a short cut can lead to issues down the line. Just because you can deal with a stress crack or two just to get yours dosent mean everyone else will. They’re trying to build a device they can sell for years not just a few thousand today and to hell with the rest.
I’m not arguing about if the 3rd revision case is good or not. That’s not for *either* of us to decide and is strictly on OP’s shoulders.
My only input was that if Atomicthumbs wants to make a point, don’t be an extremist.
Let me ask you this though. If OP decides to go ahead with revision 3 even though they need to tweak it some more, will you be mad at OP?
THEY are the captain’s of this ship, so we have to respect *whatever* decision they make.

Toyota is Japanese a quality company with deadlines.
If Pandora gets more delayed by perfection it may die.
Support may disappear there have been to many delays caused by lack off experience some stupidity and bad luck.

It looks like it cleared customs, and is in transit to the UPS hub where Michael is, and then it will go out for delivery. That could happen today, but ED’s update would have had to be early in the AM hours. “Out for Delivery” is what we want to see.
It was in the early AM hours in Canada.

Having tracked stuff from UPS in the past, they are open for you to collect from the depot, at least in the UK, if you prefer; always an option and worth a go ;o)

So if they are acceptable they’ll be used, but there’s probably not many in this particular batch, that’s the next step.
