The mysterious case of the cases (no, not those cases)

It’s the last nagging detail of the Pandora accessory suite. We’ve seen the AV cables, we’ve seen the power supplies, but where are the cases? No, not the ones in China. We know where they aren’t. The carry cases. Finally, Craig has posted a picture in the forums that believe it or not, introduces another question. Craig describes this as “the hardcase which will probably come with the carry case free.” This could mean that the case you ordered is larger, with this one thrown in for free. Or that the case you ordered is this one, and it comes with a limited edition Tote Bag (with Craig screenprinted on the front). Whatever the case, it does look pleasing. Better get one for Justin.

It’s probably not too late – just send them an email with your original order details and ask if you can add it.
hmm, a few months ago I tried responding to my original confirmation email, asking about adding a video out cable to my order. I never got a response. Any suggestions?
I think they process a pretty high volume of emails, and some can slip through the cracks. Try again, and if you don’t hear anything within a week, try from a different email address (you never know how a spam filter is going to behave). Make sure you’re sending to openpandorasales[at]gmail.
Craig , Nutty as squirrel shit as normal. At least they got him down from the roof today.
Getting him down was never an issue. The trick was letting gravity do the work without him breaking his neck.

I really want to try and understand what the relationship between the two cases is.
If there’s a high probability of receiving both of them then I might put in the order for them, £13.72 at the time felt quite expensive for a case that nobody had seen.
I’d still like more pictures and details on it though.

You know, this is all I had been asking for in the forums, I never saw a OP/dev say we haven’t forgot about the (carry) cases…they’re coming. I don’t mind waiting but 2-3 threads of getting ignored was upsetting.

This looks pretty nice – but I’m planning on using my old DS lite case. It’s one of the large aluminum bricks which can probably take a bullet – fortunately it has a foam insert, so I can cut some foam for a perfect fit
The plastic cases mass production is still due to run on 22.02.2010 right ?

So probably they won’t ship anything before March. It’s very possible…
CNY is 15 days of celebrations ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_New_Year ) So, I would not bet on 22.02.2010…
Yea… I personally will be shocked if it ships any time less than a month from now.

Giving the fact that iPhone 3GS is very similar to the Pandora in terms of specs, I suppose that even if someone find a way to support flash (min 10.1, less is useless for me) it will run very slowly
