A classy new vid from EvilDragon, demonstrating the current state of Pandora software (thanks in no small part to the Pandora community, who are pumping out the releases). Sadly it’s just going to make you want your Pandora more, but never the less it’s worth heading straight to the source to watch it in 720p. Also, a word from Craig on the next lot of boards, which are set to turn up on Monday again.
203 boards arriving on Monday with the nubs tested (if UPS don’t mess up).
There are 203 cases ready for those boards to go straight in to so they will ship next week too.
Then we hope it’s all go go go for Aug/Sept.
Every few hundred we make we improve the build process, this is very important to get right since we plan to use this case and system for a couple of years.

I have to say that up until very, VERY, (font 34 + bold)VERY(/font 34 + bold) recently, I was confused wondering if I should buy the Pandora. I’ve been watching the progress daily since somewhere around February 2008.
My point is, seeing all these bad things happen, the fact that I lost my queue although I asked precisely if I’d maintain it, and so many other things… It made me wonder why I didn’t ask for my money back and this video reminded me why I wanted a Pandora in the first place.
Having a PSP, a DSi, a very capable laptop, a netbook…I thought, do I really need a pandora?? I came to the conclusion that I could get a refund and buy a Dingoo or even the new Caanoo but finally, this proved why in the first place, I decided to wait for a Pandora. Hopefully, I’ll get it soon enough. Oh and, great promo vid you got there.
What’s two months or three after 2 to 3 years…

But 2 months is ~8% (of 2 years). That’s a fair amount. And while two months might be OK waiting, it’s the two months that follows, and the two months after that…

What are the two games after Superfrog?
there was a lot of hoop la in the forums that the pandora was switching to android. Was that a joke? I am confused. Thanks in advance to any one you could cleear this up for me.
craigix was just looking for a discussion on the pros and cons of android, but was not planning on switching.
So, they’re going to ship another 200 next week. Didn’t they say that last week and the week before too? I’ve been watching pretty closely because I’m supposedly ~400 in the queue, so I’m assuming that they never ended up shipping any more after that first batch of “700″?
That’s correct, they’ve only shipped that first 700 (or 650, or 600 or whatever it is). They were supposed to be getting another 400 done the week before last, but some additional QC at the nub factory slowed that down. Now there are 200 boards on the way.

According to the video they have delivered about 600 units… last time I heard it was 650 and the time before that it was 650-700. What gives?

I read some of the forums and it looks like ‘No’. I don’t even think they will come this week.
No word yet, but we’re led to believe they’re at least in the air somewhere.
looks like that’s another day done and dusted without much happening! ah well I’ve pretty much resigned myself to a Pandora-less holiday anyway!!

Has anyone tried overclocking Pandora to 1.2Ghz yet? It should work, at least my n900 is very happy at that speed.
