Here’s a little something: NullDC, the Dreamcast emulator, running on Pandora hardware at last! Just four days ago we were shown the Dreamcast BIOS booting up on a Beagleboard. Today, we get Prince of Persia. This ride is fun already. Take it away, ZeZu:

Please note the framerate in this game is 30fps or so, the cpu percentage is correct and the RPS is similar to the framerate.

[ as in 8 / 30 would be 14fps+ PAL or ~16fps NTSC (if it worked out in that fashion)]

You might not label it “playable”, but its looking up from things a few days ago.

Yes. Yes it is.

Dreamcasts? In my Pandora?! Well, not quite. If you’re hoping to see the Craiginator carving up Crazy Taxi, you might want to put a cap on that excitement for now. What we do have is the Dreamcast BIOS happily booting on a Beagleboard, courtesy of soon-to-be-knighted coders ZeZu and drkIIRaziel. An achievement in itself, and the start of a fun ride by the looks of things. Ok, it’s cause for a little excitement…
