Official Pandora forum launched

As announced via Twitter last Friday, and heartily discussed all weekend on GP32X, the Pandora now has its own official forum. The new forum is a slimmed down version of the Pandora section at GP32X, and will largely serve as an official support channel and news feed, also catering for the team’s other project, the iControlPad. EvilDragon is administering the new site alongside GP32X, and will ensure that all official news is posted on both sites. For y’all, the usual flow of news (official blog, Twitter, Pandorapress) will remain unchanged, so you don’t need to check yet another source if you don’t want to.

My kingdom for a forum

A brief and very belated note on what’s happening with the forums. A donation drive earlier in the week motivated Hando to upgrade the forum software on GP32X, to fix the bugs and avoid a mass exodus (well, a thread about mass exodus anyway). Unfortunately a few hiccups in the upgrade knocked the site out of action, where it has stayed for several days.

There is some life on GP32X today, but it’s not quite functional yet. In the meantime, the famous backup forum is still open for business at openhandhelds.org (formerly forum.openpandora.org).

GP32X Problems

All of the forums at gp32x.com have mysteriously disappeared. You can still use the other forums (forum.openpandora.org) until everything is sorted out.
